Biomedical Optics Laboratory at RheinAhrCampus

The Biomedical Optics Laboratory at RheinAhrCampus is dedicated to the development of methods and instrumentation for biomedical applications, with the main emphasis on tissue optics and opto-electronics. The lab is part of the Department of Mathematics and Engineering of RheinAhrCampus, University of Applied Sciences Koblenz, with its Bachelor and Master courses in Medical Engineering, Optics and Laser Engineering, Sensor Engineering, Applied Physics as well as mathematics.

The lab is part of ‘Kompetenzzentrum LASOM’.

Though most of our work is focused on details of the everyday science, we hope to eventually improve the health and wellbeing of humans.
