German Corner

The place where the Moselle and Rhine flow together. Landmark of Koblenz and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. There is a beer garden on the Moselle next to a beautiful green area.

Ehrenbreitstein Fortress

Very easy to reach by cable car from the Rhine promenade. Exhibitions, concerts, cabaret and markets.

Large shopping centres

...such as the Forum Confluentes, a highly modern, architecturally outstanding building, or the Löhr-Center invite you to shop, complemented by small, unusual shops in the old town and elsewhere.

Museums

Numerous museums can be visited in Koblenz and the surrounding area, such as the Ludwig Museum, the Mittelrhein Museum, Romanticum, the Mother Beethoven House and many more.

Castles and palaces

Numerous castles and palaces line the region on the Rhine and Moselle, such as the Electoral Palace, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, Stolzenfels Castle, Koblenz Old Castle and many more.

Fortress park

Outdoor fitness equipment and a large lawn, perfect for sports and chilling out. Also: deckchair rental and great viewing platform.

Skater park

..attracts young people in front of the Electoral Palace. Behind the palace is a romantic garden and a 100-metre-wide staircase leading into the Rhine.

Schängel Fountain

Small mean tourist trap at the town hall - spits at passers-by now and then without warning.
