Study Trips

 Awarding of study trips within the framework of the PROMOS programe by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Study trips with a duration of up to 12 days can be supported with a grant towards the costs of stay for students of the university and one accompanying person (lecturer/professor of the university).

This subsidy amounts to €30 per person and day for trips to EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey; €45 per person and day for all other countries.

In addition to imparting subject-related knowledge and providing an insight into the host country, the focus should be on meeting students and scientists on site. Trips with a predominantly touristic programme as well as lecture and congress trips are not eligible for funding.

Application deadline: August 30th for the following year.
