Our code of conduct and policies

Koblenz University of Applied Sciences is a state institution engaged in academic research, teaching, continuing education and knowledge transfer. As such, it is a secular institution which is committed to a pluralistic worldview and to the standards and methods of academic research and teaching. Academic freedom in research and teaching depends on autonomy from non-scientific influences in terms of methods, objective standards and regarding personnel decisions.

In accordance with the laws of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, the coexistence of staff employed at the university on a temporary or permanent basis is determined autonomously through decisions made by the relevant university committees.
