Professor for General business administration, in particular International Business

The following professorship is to be filled in the department of Business and Management at the location Koblenz as soon as possible:

 
Professor (f/m/d)
for General business administration, in particular International Business
(Base Salary: W 2)

Part-time employment is possible.

Your tasks:
• Representation of teaching (in German and English) in the subject areas International Business and Marketing and the study programmes B.Sc. Marketing and International Business and M.Sc. Busi-ness Management
• Establishment of a research profile as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
• Networking with regional stakeholders (companies, associations, etc.) 
• Participation in academic self-administration

Your profile:
• Professional expertise in the teaching area International Marketing and International Sales & Deliv-ery 
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and their development
• Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts 
• Openness to taking on new teaching content within the framework of the long-term, strategic and, if necessary, interdisciplinary further development of the range of courses offered
• High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
• Good German skills (minimum C1-level) and good English skills (minimum C1-level)

The hiring requirements for professorships result from § 49 of the Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (HochSchG).
