Rhine Experience 2016
THE SUMMER SCHOOL PROJECT 2016 RHINE EXPERIENCE
International Management - German and US Business Culture
Jens Andreas Faulstich welcomed the students of this year's Maymester Program to Remagen.
The students took part in lectures and case studies offered by Prof. David Doerring, Eileen Küpper M.Sc and Dr. Rashimah Rajah. The afternoon sessions were reserved for project work on the topics of the online reserach activities prior to the begining of the program - and the final presentations.
An excursion to the RWE open-cast coal mine in Garzweiler enabled the students to familiarise themselves with important aspects of sustainable energy management and coal mining in Germany.
Social activities like the campus BBQ, a trip to Cologne (including a boat trip on the river) and lots of small-group activities helped to foster informal communication and personal contacts.
This module was part of an intensive study program for Part I of the International Summer School Program organised by Coastal Carolina University, HS Bonn-Rhein-Sieg and RheinAhrCampus Remagen.
