Hei, hei!

I am Saskia, part of team Sprachen/Internationales at RheinAhrCampus, and last week I had the opportunity to attend the International Week at our partner university, LAB University of Applied Sciences in Lahti and Lappeenranta, Finland. This Erasmus Teaching Mobility was truly valuable and memorable for me. Numerous internationalization strategies and endeavors were discussed during my time there, and I am looking forward to a fruitful future exchange between our institutions.

In addition to hosting a workshop with a highly motivated group of students, I had the privilege of participating in several themed sessions and discussion panels alongside local and international staff and lecturers. The week was filled with engaging, productive, and inspiring activities, in- and outside the classrooms. One of the outdoor highlights was my first-time snowshoeing, kindly organized by the LAB International Office.

I am grateful for the supportive and welcoming atmosphere at LAB and would like to thank the organizing team of LAB International Week for creating wonderful and unique experiences.
