Mission Statement

Our Campus is committed to the following guidelines for its activities:

NEW

Our innovative degree courses, offered in a learning community of lecturers and students, and including professional partners, open up new chances on the labour market for our graduates. Learning aims, contents, methods and places form new associations and thus support the practical aspects of our courses.

OPEN

Our courses are oriented towards interdisciplinary learning, take intercultural dimensions of vocational practice into account, and prepare for international practice. The practice-related courses - a characteristic feature of the ‘University of Applied Sciences’ - are intensified by close cooperation and exchange between university and companies/institutions.

COMPACT

We take advantage of the small, manageable size of the RheinAhrCampus and the favourable student/staff ratio for efficient work in small groups and for intensive discussion and consultancy. Our work in the field is oriented towards small and medium-sized companies.

REGIONAL

Integrated in the health resort region Rhein-Ahr and the developing scientific centre Bonn, the RheinAhrCampus sees itself as a regional centre for innovation and services which carries out applied research and development as well as continuing education for and with the region’s service providers, institutions and companies.
