Remagen has some nice areas (and restaurants) to explore as well. The walk to campus was flat and easy but there are buses, and I had access to a bicycle. The Rhine provides a nice running or walking track [...] goes both ways and there is a local gym that was well equipped. I found enough to explore in Germany, but other international colleagues also travelled to cities outside of Germany in other countries that
that captivated their attention and sparked their curiosity. My lectures were not only informative but also thought-provoking, encouraging students to think critically and to explore new ideas and their

This semester also brought me many new friends. Friends from other countries are not just new people, but also new connections, and a new understanding of each nation's culture, traditions, and peculiarities [...] conversations, excursions, photos, and time spent together. On the one hand, we are very different, but on the other hand, very similar. This once again proves the importance of intercultural communication [...] and responsible, and on the other hand, it was proud to take part not only directly as a participant but also as an organizer of the seminar. People from different countries with vast experience and diverse
tongue, but it went very well. As I don't speak German, I had to manage to make myself understood in a language other than the one spoken in the country, which made the experience more difficult but above [...] enriched and transformed my vision of things. This was my first time abroad so I was a bit scared but the fear and initial apprehension quickly dissipated in front of the cultural wealth and the diversity [...] world. One thing that scared me a lot was my English. I could read, understand and even write it, but it was still difficult for me to speak it properly. I was very afraid of not being able to communicate
RheinAhrCampus in Remagen. Thinking back to before coming to Remagen I had totally different expectations, but I loved the experience I had more than the expectations I had in mind.
