this semester abroad in RAC, I not only learned the importance of professionalism by working as a TA but also learned to enjoy life as a traveler. I learned leadership while heading an International project
This semester also brought me many new friends. Friends from other countries are not just new people, but also new connections, and a new understanding of each nation's culture, traditions, and peculiarities [...] conversations, excursions, photos, and time spent together. On the one hand, we are very different, but on the other hand, very similar. different to work with an international team. Being the only American in the university, I had no choice but to make friends with people who were very different than me. However, I learned tremendous life lessons [...] community, and teamwork. I was able to keep the parts of my culture that I thought were beneficial, but I also challenged myself to practice good habits and attributes from other cultures. RheinAhrCampus in Remagen. Thinking back to before coming to Remagen I had totally different expectations, but I loved the experience I had more than the expectations I had in mind. and at RheinAhrCampus we had the warmest welcoming; thanks to the Sprachen/Internationales office, but especially thanks to Dr. Rajah. She helped me from the beginning, and for that I am extremely thankful [...] thankful. Honestly, I must confess that the thing that scared me the most was the internship, but as soon as I met the team of Sprachen/Internationales all the fear went away. During my internship I learned [...] of the Managing Cultural Diversity; the best seminar I have ever been. Those tasks were stressful but thanks to that I have improved a lot. I also discovered my new passion, bigger than translation and
more interactive, and the learning environment was deeply engaging, which was initially challenging but ultimately enriching. Adapting to life in the student dorms was another hurdle. Without an oven or [...] encountered here added to the challenges of learning how to navigate my new life. It took some time, but it broadened my perspective on education and learning in many different ways. Despite these challenges [...] will positively impact my life moving forward. Living in Remagen has not only shaped me as a person but also set the foundation for a promising future.
