This semester also brought me many new friends. Friends from other countries are not just new people, but also new connections, and a new understanding of each nation's culture, traditions, and peculiarities [...] conversations, excursions, photos, and time spent together. On the one hand, we are very different, but on the other hand, very similar. professors and students created together. Maybe it's because of the nature of my Engineering major, but I mostly listened to a professor's lecture, took notes, studied hard, and took tests. not only inside university but in the ESN group and some of them I consider them now as part of my family. Koblenz is a beautiful city, maybe not the biggest of the country but the ESN team managed to create
engage more and more in the green spaces of their hometown. Elsewhere it is “Keep off the grass” , but in Andernach it is “Picking is encouraged – help yourself”. We were astonished how the concept of "edible [...] cities. Furthermore, we have seen how biodiverse the urban garden can be: there were common plants but also some exotic ones, such as banana palms and pomegranates. Overall, it was a very sustainable day
with reasonable prices and a cafe to have a little treat. It may not be a critical aspect for others, but I was surprised how easy Hochschule makes it to be an environmentally responsible person, with Pfa [...] included everything you need for everyday life. I am definitely not fluent in German in any capacity, but it has lighted the spark for learning it. Unfortunately, I could not enjoy the Brand Management in [...] practice. I really enjoyed the materials and assignments, as they don’t only have value for final grade, but have quite creative and entertaining sides. Talking about creativity and entertainment, I want to thank
each other spontaneously. In the beginning, we only shared some household equipment like an iron, but soon it became our habit to eat together for lunch or dinner a couple of times a week. Jency cooked [...] Indian meals throughout the semester and had to make them extra mild since I couldn’t handle the spice. But we also ordered the first pizza in Jency’s life together and learned how to make sushi (which was the [...] will last despite the distance. Well, it did. In February 2023 we planned to finally meet in India, but unfortunately, the trip had to be canceled. Recently, we finally had the chance to see each other after
RheinAhrCampus in Remagen. Thinking back to before coming to Remagen I had totally different expectations, but I loved the experience I had more than the expectations I had in mind.
