this semester abroad in RAC, I not only learned the importance of professionalism by working as a TA but also learned to enjoy life as a traveler. I learned leadership while heading an International project
This semester also brought me many new friends. Friends from other countries are not just new people, but also new connections, and a new understanding of each nation's culture, traditions, and peculiarities [...] conversations, excursions, photos, and time spent together. On the one hand, we are very different, but on the other hand, very similar. This once again proves the importance of intercultural communication [...] and responsible, and on the other hand, it was proud to take part not only directly as a participant but also as an organizer of the seminar. People from different countries with vast experience and diverse
different to work with an international team. Being the only American in the university, I had no choice but to make friends with people who were very different than me. However, I learned tremendous life lessons [...] community, and teamwork. I was able to keep the parts of my culture that I thought were beneficial, but I also challenged myself to practice good habits and attributes from other cultures. In the end, I [...] enough time to be ten minutes early. I was not always able to meet my goal of being ten minutes early, but I succeeded in making it to my classes, meetings, and shifts on time. It feels good to have kicked
RheinAhrCampus in Remagen. Thinking back to before coming to Remagen I had totally different expectations, but I loved the experience I had more than the expectations I had in mind. It’s astonishing how life surprises [...] people from all over the world and learn about their countries and cultures, to see how different but similar we are. Although I lived in Germany for many years, I enjoyed this semester the most. This
and at RheinAhrCampus we had the warmest welcoming; thanks to the Sprachen/Internationales office, but especially thanks to Dr. Rajah. She helped me from the beginning, and for that I am extremely thankful [...] thankful. Honestly, I must confess that the thing that scared me the most was the internship, but as soon as I met the team of Sprachen/Internationales all the fear went away. During my internship I learned [...] of the Managing Cultural Diversity; the best seminar I have ever been. Those tasks were stressful but thanks to that I have improved a lot. I also discovered my new passion, bigger than translation and
challenge because I was just 18 years old and I had never had any international experience in my life. But I was sure that I wanted to do something great, unforgettable and very important for my future during [...] is where I want to live in” because I love the architecture of German houses and the city is small but very cute. Although it is small I could do a lot of fun things like going to Baracke (student pub) [...] of Europe and travelling is very cheap here. I have travelled to France and the Netherlands so far, but I still have time to travel more and I will do so. In the end, I would like to say that my semester

first it was hard for me, but then I got used to it. This lovely city became familiar and every day became precious. The happy exchange life began. Remagen may seem small, but it is a city full of kind [...] cityscape is one of the most precious memories. The Rheinahrcampus is small but has everything in it. I was surprised that it was not big, but I was able to meet my friends more often and to use the school facilities [...] off the frog in a well and go to a new place. New culture and language may seem like a huge wall, but at some point I was enjoying it.
